Mimi's Place Community believes that the best way for children to learn is through actual experience. We provide a creative art experience that focuses on letters and sounds, numbers, shapes, vocabulary, and spelling names. All children are exposed to several art themes, and art terms.
Our Philosophy
Family childcare in a "home-like" setting is the best alternative there is for working parents. It provides a small secure environment for children during the most important time of their development.
Our Community
You’ll be able to utilize or recycle supplies you already have at home to complete lesson activities. We’ll provide you with alternative options as well.
Nutrition
Nutrition is a part of our daily lifestyle! We provide every child with tasty vegetarian meals that support cognitive development and a healthy immune system.
A Message from Ms. Nika
“As a mother and an educator my goal is to provide an exceptional daycare experience for not only the child, but the parents as well. My approach to support infant/toddler development is through hands on creative activities. I do so by providing new themes each month and I use several forms of art as our teaching tool. At Mimi's Place children will have exposure to several art concepts.
Some art concepts your child will regularly be exposed to are mixed media arts, several painting styles, Montessori art activities, collaborative art, and abstract art. Community and family building is another area of emphasis. It is extremely important to me that we all support one another. We will work together to create a consistent, loving, and safe environment. Mimi's Place will be your child's home away from home, and a new addition to your family.”
